How Much Do Veneers Cost in Dubai? (2026 Guide)

How much do veneers cost in dubai?

In Dubai, veneers generally cost from around AED 600 to AED 1,500 per tooth for composite, and from around AED 1,500 to AED 5,000 or more per tooth for porcelain. The final figure depends on the material, the number of teeth, the ceramic lab, and how much planning your case needs. Individual costs vary.

That’s the short answer. The more useful answer is understanding why two quotes for “veneers” can look so different, and what you’re paying for at each end of the range. I get asked about price in almost every consultation, so here’s how I explain it to my own patients.

What Is the Average Cost of Veneers in Dubai?

Published 2026 price guides for Dubai put the ranges roughly here:

Veneer typeTypical range per tooth (AED)
Composite veneersfrom ~600 to 1,500
Porcelain / E-max veneersfrom ~1,500 to 5,000+

A full smile makeover, often 8 to 10 veneers on the upper teeth, can therefore range from under AED 10,000 to well over AED 40,000. These are market ranges, not a quote. Your own cost can only be confirmed after an examination.

Why Do Veneer Prices Vary So Much Between Clinics?

The material

Composite resin is sculpted directly onto the tooth, usually in one visit. It costs less, and it can be repaired, but it’s more prone to staining and wear over time. Porcelain (including lithium disilicate, often called E-max) is made in a lab, holds its colour well, and reflects light in a way that looks closer to natural enamel. That lab work is a big part of the price difference.

The ceramist

This is the part patients rarely see. A veneer is only as good as the hands that layer it. A skilled ceramist working closely with the dentist, matching translucency, texture and tiny colour shifts, costs more than a mass-production lab. It’s also the difference between teeth that look like teeth and teeth that look like a product.

The planning

Some clinics go straight from consultation to preparation. In my practice, every case starts with design: photographs, video, facial analysis and a digital mock-up, so you can see and “test drive” the proposed smile before anything permanent happens. This is the heart of The MB Concept, my Visagism-led approach, where the smile is designed around your face, features and personality rather than a template. Good planning takes time, and time is part of the fee.

Your starting point

Gum health, bite problems, old fillings, or teeth that need straightening first can all add steps. Sometimes a patient needs fewer veneers than they expected; sometimes other treatment comes first. An honest plan should explain both.

How Many Veneers Will I Need?

It depends on how wide your smile is and what you want to change. Some people only need two to four veneers to fix a chipped or uneven front tooth. Others show 8 to 10 upper teeth when they smile fully, and treating only a few can leave a visible mismatch. I’d rather treat fewer teeth well than sell more than you need.

Are Cheaper Veneers Worth It?

Sometimes, yes. Composite bonding can be an excellent, conservative choice for the right patient, especially younger patients or small corrections.

Where I urge caution is very low-priced porcelain packages. When a price looks far below the market, it’s worth asking what’s been removed: the planning stage, the mock-up, the quality of the lab, or the time spent on the fit at the gum line. Poorly fitted veneers can be harder to clean and may need replacing sooner, which makes them more expensive in the long run.

A few questions worth asking any clinic:

Does Insurance Cover Veneers in the UAE?

Generally, no. Veneers are usually considered cosmetic and elective, so most UAE insurance plans don’t cover them. If a veneer or crown is part of restoring a damaged tooth, some plans may contribute, so it’s worth checking your policy directly with your insurer.

How Long Do Veneers Last, and Does That Change the Value?

Composite veneers are commonly quoted as lasting around 5 to 7 years with good care. Porcelain veneers tend to last longer, often many years, though how long depends on your habits, bite, grinding, and hygiene. No veneer is permanent, and none is guaranteed to last a set number of years. Thinking about cost per year rather than cost on day one can make the comparison clearer.

How I Approach Pricing in My Practice

I don’t give a fixed per-tooth price over the phone, and it isn’t to be evasive. Two people asking for “six veneers” can have completely different needs. After your consultation and smile design, you’ll receive a written plan with the treatment steps and costs laid out clearly, so you can decide without pressure.

Thinking About Veneers?

If you’re weighing up veneers and want a clear, honest idea of what your smile would need, I’d be glad to meet you. We’ll look at your face, your teeth and your goals together, and you’ll leave with a plan and a realistic budget, whatever you decide.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cheapest type of veneer in Dubai?

Composite veneers are usually the most affordable, commonly from around AED 600 to 1,500 per tooth in Dubai. They’re done directly on the tooth, often in one visit. Individual costs vary.

How much does a full set of veneers cost in Dubai?

A smile makeover of 8 to 10 porcelain veneers can range from under AED 10,000 to over AED 40,000, depending on material, lab quality and case complexity. A consultation is needed for an accurate figure.

Are porcelain veneers worth the extra cost?

For many patients, yes, because porcelain resists staining and tends to last longer than composite. But the right choice depends on your teeth, your goals and your budget, which is what a consultation is for.

Can I get just one or two veneers?

Yes. A single chipped or discoloured tooth can sometimes be treated on its own. The challenge is matching it perfectly to the neighbouring teeth, which takes careful shade work with the ceramist.

Does the price include the smile design and mock-up?

This varies between clinics, so always ask. In my practice, smile design is part of the process, and your written plan will show exactly what’s included.
